Its not easy to find delicious sushi in NYC… but forever since highschool, I swear by Tomoe in the West Village. It may be a bit on the pricey side, and if youre lucky uyoull wait less than an hour in line to get a table, but as a fan of CHirashi, they have the best hands down in all of New York.. every cut of fish melts like butter, and the frice cooked to sweetness and perfection. The pickled vegetables and spicy Seaweed side compliments the crispness of the fish. I hadnt been since I was maybe 18 or 19.. and went last night. this place still remains my top Sushi in NY.

I’ve been singing this hook for almost a year now, and finally the single is dropping on T&B with remixes from Diplo, Classixx, Tomb Crew, Supra1, Kanji Kinetic, Lauren Flax, Michael Meds and many more. When I was in Australia in November I came across a humongous book, Pancha Tantra by an illustrator, Walton Ford. Lavishly detailed, beautiful and somewhat disturbing illustrations of animals interpreting human habits and feasting delights. I came back to New York in search of the book (the humongous one), only to find that it cost around $6,000. blahhhh. So, I was lucky enough to find that Taschen also made a smaller version.. which is still quite large of the amazing artist’s work.

Big three day bender… Thursday Scion party at modclub in toronto was epic.. me and AC Slater bumped the bass against Fool’s Gold soldiers, Jokers of the scene and Nacho Lovers. big fun.
