I’ll be playing a rockabilly set early in the night and then tagging with some secret special friends and family, while Wild Beasts (mona and friends) close out the jam.

When I was in Australia in November I came across a humongous book, Pancha Tantra by an illustrator, Walton Ford. Lavishly detailed, beautiful and somewhat disturbing illustrations of animals interpreting human habits and feasting delights. I came back to New York in search of the book (the humongous one), only to find that it cost around $6,000. blahhhh. So, I was lucky enough to find that Taschen also made a smaller version.. which is still quite large of the amazing artist’s work.

Big three day bender… Thursday Scion party at modclub in toronto was epic.. me and AC Slater bumped the bass against Fool’s Gold soldiers, Jokers of the scene and Nacho Lovers. big fun. On my flight from Amsterdam to Barcelona I watched Sergio Leone’s Once Upon A Time in the West. How have I missed these classics? I’ve always been a huge fan of ennio morricone’s music from these spaghetti westerns, but never took the time to watch the films. Sergio is a brilliant film

Friends from back in the breakcore days Sickboy and Droon met me earlier for a drink before DJng at Petrol in Antwerp.. we went to a private invite only bar. its ana mazing spot called Kissinger, down a dark and very muddy alley and in an old military hospital. THe room of the main bar is called the “David Lynch” room. Plush velvet couches and taxidermy surround a darkly lit cozy wooden cabin paneled whisky for life atmosphere as the DJ played old chicago classics and disco. We basked in bourbon on the rocks and then made our way to Petrol where Hot CIty played a fantastic set before I went on and did teh heavy bass thing. Good times. goodbye EU/UK..I shall be back in May!
Leeds was mental. Bigger Than Barry crew brought it as always and MINT is ana mazing club in Leeds. Falty DL played a super tight garage/ oldschool rave breakbeat and classic house set while Cut & Paste crew smashed it up as we ended the night tagteaming it. I had a blast. Nandos for dinner kept us going strong. Worst but best fast food in UK i think.
