It’s great to be back in Sydney, one of my favorite cities. I’ve got great friends here, and the food and music scene is seriously on point.

Had a fantastic Manhattan at Toko in Surry Hills on Crown St.

Blazers bound.

Snake’s hiss hunting.

I put a down payment on the top floor of this place in Surry Hills.

Which one is the parakeet?

Kingsley killed the King.

Sticky duck and banana w/ green papaya Rice paper rolls  @ Missh Chu. Delicious.

Tim Sea from Act Yo Age!  Phorkin’ da Pho

and I’ll be at the following this next couple weeks…

Asia, it’s been a blast!

Hong Kong Hype Nasty was wild. I had so much fun I only have a few pictures from that trip. I met some fantastic people, DJ Enso took great care and him and Yao played heavyyyyy sets. Hong Kong knows.

DJ Miss Yellow is funny.

So, Im at baggage claim at the Seoul Airport, and as I pick up my luggage I notice a heavy computerized blinking beeping device techno-locked onto my bag. theres a note that says Ive violated the rules of Customs and need to head over to declare my items.

As I walk towards the exit, a Tetris-like melody begins to beep away and everybody stares at me and points with surprised and cautious faces. What did I do??? I didnt have any food… I was so confused. Security pull me aside, frisk me, enter some code off of the computerized lock, and plug it into a monitor. They ask me if I had any weapons.

Weapons?!.. no..

They show me a screen grab of my bag’s X-ray, and a red circle outlines  an item that looks vaguely like a gun. I panick and begin to think I’ve been set up….who did I meet on the plane? Did I leave my bag somewhere? This is stupid..They pull me aside away from the bags to wait as they search through them.

Nobody can find the “Weapon”. they tear my bag apart. literally un binding the bottom and swabbing every corner and stitch. They proceed to take it to another x ray machine and I ask to see the image again, maybe I can tell them what theyre mistaking for a weapon, but they dont allow me. Im thinking my whole tour is over. Then, a new officer comes over and digs around grabbing my medicine bag. Everybody looks at me embarrassed and one laughs.

She pulls out an asthma inhaler and within seconds, my disarrayed bag is passed back to me and I’m told to go, “It’s ok.”

Not a fresh start, haha but thankfully the party at Club Answer was a smash and made up for the wonky intro to South Korea.

World Cup backstaging

Rew from Club Answer, flipping that Korean BBQ down delicious.

Seoul, South Korea was rammmmmmed with kids. Sadly Korea lost their match at the world cup that night, but the energy and excitement of their passion for the south korean team is huge in this city, and people partied hard after the game. I Djd at Club Answer. I rarely take pictures while DJng of the crowd, but I had to capture this laser. it is the best one ive seen in a club. hands down.

ah!

I had a day off – so we walked around foreign and Korea st and then went and hit a movie at Megabox. The movie theaters in Seoul are kind of insane. as in HUMONGOUS screens. and the pop corn is crazy flavors like cheddar and caramel.

Off to Australia in support of my Devils Eyes single dropping on One Love.

Shanghai is an increidble city. bright neon tron-like lights outline and animate amongst the towering skyscrapers and snake ribbon intersections and freeways. electronic music that isnt top 40 trance or hip hop is BRAND NEW to the people still, so its extremely exciting. I played for a crew wonky kong run by a fabulous ex D&B promoter, Jane. from epic meals to a great amazing party heres some of the highlights of my 2 days there.

well begin at our last hours in tokyo. I heard about black sesame ramen, but never in NY. we seeked it out in tokyo and wow. I stupidly forgot to grab a card form the restaurant, but this ramen was spicy, black sesame based and on the menu listed as “painful ramen”.. dont know what the mix up in translation would be on that one.

had a shochu on ice for the road down a back alley bar

off to the airport.

what do you know about green tea kit kats?

theyre delicious.

…don’t do it.

~

hello Shanghai.

the view from New Heights restaurant is massive.

the night after we ate a frog pot at a spot called wawaijo. tradiional szechwan spicy style.. the numbing peppers and all. it was full of different flavors – celantro and the chili really balanced one another perfectly. Frog taste like a hybrid between chicken and fish. loved it.

kermit in the fryer.

so many bikes in shanghai.

so many Maos.

in the parks and small alleyways, old men and children will carry these song birds with them. they chirp and chirp like burpy little flutes.

dont miss out on the pulled noodles.

or the dumplings..

Jane aka DJ Siesta, the hostess with the mostest.

Bonus Question. What did we eat for breakfast (by accident)…

hint: dont bust my balls.

the party was off the wall.. check pictures out HERE

soooo, I’ve been on this Asian portion of the tour. its been bonkers. the amount of photos and weird videos ive got to share is huge.. but as I was in shanghai theyve banned facebook, twitter, google.. everything allowing me to update the blog! anyway, while I was away my new single, Sex Sax hit the streets, and the music video is ridiculous.

Grab SEX SAX w/ remixes by Sinden, Bart B More, Blu Jemz, Zombies for Money, and MJ Cole HERE

Today, we took a stroll around Osaka – there are a lot of tunneled markets and shops everywhere…. and people.

Don’t.

—–

We went to a pet store in the shopping mall next to our hotel, and it was nuts. were talking fighting beetles, snakes, kimono dragons, wallabys, and owls for sale.

We headed to Amemura and had some Takoyaki and Sake on the way.

Had saturday night off in Tokyo, so we joined up with Chaki from LowBrows and hit the town. He definitely took us to some crazy Tokyo spots. After eating some Yakitori and drinking down more Oolong Tea and Shochu, we hit a spot called TRUMP ROOM. hundreds of chandeliers hang from the ceiling on 3 floors. A platformed lit up stripper pole stood in the middle of the third floor room. A lace gowned dancer came and did her thing on the pole while a live electronic violinist played delayed out dramatic cinematic music. Following the dancer was a battle between a tap dancing lunatic who was off beat and drunk as a skunk and the violinist.

Shibuya gets crazy crowded.

We hti up some illegal rave afterwards, and sadly my phone died. so i coudlnt grab any pictures. Lots of T&B love in the room though. for example…

Room with a view.

I wanted to get a massage in the morning. all these flights can catch up with your back. Sadly, I could not because of my tattoos. and because I drank too much Shochu and Oolong. not!

Since I couldnt get the massage, I got lost in Nature and had some Chirashi.

you can’t tell from the picture, but in Japan they use real wasabi. The chef grates the root in front of you – I was used to the paste we have in America. This is far more delicious and spicier.

It’s funny because it’s true.

Onto Osaka… we grabbed the bullet train and had a bento box with of course, Pocari Sweat.

Some great photos of the Tokyo party for YEAH! last night captured by Mai Sassy Girl on her blog – huge night.

From Left: Chaki, me, Roger Yamaha, Kaz

you can peep em all at Mai’s blog HERE

Tokyo is an amazing city, and I was hanging out with the right crew – Roger Yamaha and the the Low Brows crew were in charge of the party at club Asia called YEAH! I came a couple days early to properly enjoy the city and Roger and kaz took me around shibuya, Harajuku and other spots..

What I found out was…

Ramen is delicious.

Yakitori is delicious.

we went to a sake bar called roku in shibuya. really reminded me of satsko back home. super small full of great local DJ’s

found out that Oolong Tea and Shoju is delicious.

Television is insane.

Toilets are fancy

snacks are funny

Vending machines are fancy and everywhere

Pocari Sweat Kicks Gatorade’s Ass.

Mishka store in Harajuku is looking sharp!

It rains a lot. typhoon style during the summer, but Pocari Sweat kept me going strong.

Roger Yamaha runs Turntable Lab Tokyo and it is set up real nice w/ a little table bar for the customers.

I was skeptical at first, but Italian Japanese fusion food is delicious.

Roger took me to an amazing synth shop: Five G Music Technology. wished I was  at the end of my Asia tour, not beginning because I wouldve racked up a lot of these. Mint condition 808’s, 303’s, ms-20’s..

Tempura and Sushi are obviously delicious.

I would never eat this back home. But supposedly its fresh and killed day of. – Seared Chicken Sashimi. It didnt even taste like chicken, it tasted super fresh like a cut of tuna or salmon.

Chaki and me both cheating at arm wrestling. check our free hands.

The party was fantastic. such a great crowd, fully in touch with the new releases of my own and others off T&B etc. really can not wait to come back..

Osaka is next!

DJ’d for Sloppy Mania 2 in Atlanta. I can’t explain how crazy this was. just check these clips and pix out.
